I am happy to announce that I was able to fix this bug, which seems to be
due to a bug in the compiler I use, and that there is a new binary
distribution which you can pick up as soon it has been put where the old
one is (check the drectory dates).
Also primFloatDecode (-1) in the Prelude computes correctly to (-8388608,-23).
