Hi,
I want to say something about a nasty bug that has been in Hugs ever since
I started using it. Everyone knows it is there, but it is not in the bug
report!
The bug presents itsefl by saying:
INTERNAL ERROR: Error in graph
The only thing that helps is restarting Hugs.
Sometimes it is right after the next command evaluated after a:
ERROR: Garbage collection fails to reclaim sufficient space
Or a:
ERROR: Xxxx is not an instance of class "Yyyy"
Sometimes there seems to be no reason. Just that it gives strange errors
like:
Program error: {_SEL (,,,)
Or even wrong output (usually an empty string where there is supposed to
be a very long one). Right after this it complains about "error in graph".
I get this bug about twice to ten times a day.
