Yes, sorry about that.
We used to have X11 support but then we redesigned greencard (the tool
we use when building interfaces to C libraries) and didn't get around to
rewriting the Xlib interface.
I removed all the X11 references from the Hugs web page and
documentation but forgot to change haskell.org's pages. I've removed
the X11 claim from the web page.

Not at all. GHC and HBC are still pretty much Unix-specific (though
GHC will run on Win32 if you install Cygnus's Unix emulator). Hugs
works well on Unix, Windows and the Mac but includes 3 Win32 specific
libraries (out of a total of more than 30).
