I have no particular opinion myself, but a suggestion; it seems good to
keep the defaults clearly separated from the options. So perhaps:
TOGGLES: groups begin with +/- to turn options on/off resp. (Last = default.)
s Print no. reductions/cells after eval off
t Print type after evaluation off
f Terminate evaluation on first error on
g Print no. cells recovered after gc off
...
or something.
