I was talking to an old friend I haven't seen for quite awhile this/
yesterday evening.We talked about this n that for a while, then as I
always do in such situations, I dropped in quite randomly " Do you
ever hear that Humming noise, especially at night?" It came as no
surprise that he said that he, and his wife do hear a Hum. " How does
it sound to you?" I asked. "mmmMMMMmmmmMMMMMmmMMMMMMmmm " his reply. I
never got round to asking about the direction, one ear, or both, but
he confessed to being baffled as to it's origin. " Don't be I said,
I'm here to enlighten..........................."..........
