Hollywood made a story about this, and the film makers, it is said, had a lot of difficulty getting the film released, so hot is the topic. I saw it way back in the 80's, and remember it being nothing like what is really supposed to of happened. I'll get it on DVD and watch it again. Considering this happened a few years before the modern day UFO craze, such as the Roswell incident, it really is a very strange story, but is it......?.....Interestingly German scientists, according to the video were involved. Surprising as the USA was supposed to be at war with the Nazis at the time, then again as many as twenty thousand Nazis and their scientific data were shipped to the states after the war, so it's not that surprising at all. The Nazi ideology rejected Jewish Einsteinian science and took a more exotic route. Die Glocke - or the Bell was supposed to be a device that supposedly manipulated time and space, or then again was it an anti gravity device? Flying discs and time travel were all supposed to of been experimented with by the Nazis. So many discoveries made by these scientists have been wrongly attributed to others, especially NASA. Anyway there were so many eyewitness accounts of the aftermath of the Philadelphia experiment that it's impossible to discount the story. Einstein Tesla and others were involved, but Tesla was not happy with the morality of experimenting with live human beings that he sabotaged his own equipment. Considering the sheer advance in science that WW2 brought it's not inconceivable that an attempt to make a ship inivisble to radar and light was made. So what happened when the invisibility generators were turned on? Did the frequencies used turn the ship into the basic vibrational waves that make up the illusion of the solid 3D world and did the ship disappear? Some witness say the outline of the hull was seen in the water, some say it instantly reappeared on the other side of the USA, disappeared again and reappeared back in it's original position. It's said that when the generators were switched off the ship regained it's solidity and the crew were part buried in the infrastructure as the realities of each became scrambled together. Some crew went mad, some who left the ship went into a bar, ordered a drink and burst into flames, some faded in and out of reality. Could it of been that their 'lock' in time and space had been disrupted. It's an amazing story whatever happened, and if Tesla was involved it probably did.
