Hi Victor, I also thought it was to do with microwave transmissions for a good while. I even had plausible explanations as to how it was generated. Look up thermo-acoustic waves and phonons, optical tweezers and photon density. ICNIRP even list microwave hearing as a hazard. Either they don't know what they are talking about or it is deliberate misdirection. My money is on the latter.
