I really need my own spectrum analyser [other than PC utility] , but even then, I realised a while back that shielding at VLF in test setups is very tricky.[Read:Expensive] The admixture of VLF and UHF is extremely tricky to untangle and why it's a frustrating task to unravel hum and RF carriers.Microwave hearing is the only obvious candidate so far. The general consensus about hum seems to be that it is an ELF source fundamentally.
