Well Vic, I'm not the arbitrator on hum- just a concerned observer.

Also from my post [rider]  are concerns that reflect past opinions
well held about the total remit of hum and how it can present around
the globe.John's comment would be welcome.
What you see on a CRT/Spectrum Analyser  MAY not be what you hear or
feel directly- or it may be a component. If you have a case for
inspection, as you do- it's imperative that it's pursued and all here
will support that.
In these highly technical cases the average person is going to back
away. This is the price of Technology versus public awareness [out of
synch]- so long as the mobile phone is working and they don't get a
headache doing it, that's enough!
No doubt, whatsoever, that it's a David versus Goliath exchange going
on.
