Just before Christmas I noticed that a substation about 4 miles away was being fitted with Amperion-type B-PLC/BPL Connectors. As this particular substation is inside of an old, delapidated building (and you should SEE the new junk that's in there!) the 12 injectors are mounted, on frames, outside on 2 poles.
Today the fun started as "they" began attempting to get these things online remotely - Beats the Hell out of me why "they" don't just send someone down there and do it - B-u-u-u-t no, the "guys" have to do it remotely, relying on electronic feedback. The mentality of whole "thing" just doesn't make any sense. So, now I'm listening to a weird and freaky "Hum" as "they" try every froickin' channel they've got and put so much power through the anti- reactance fast-switching capacitor banks that they're screaming, to try to get comms going to these BPL injector pieces of crap. This equipment simply does not work as advertised. Why "they" can't see that is anybody's guess. But the "King" WILL have his "New Clothes" and the boys will be the boys. It's the mentality of, "He who has the most toys wins." on a global corporate scale. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hum Sufferers" group.
