In 1985 Dr Robert O. Becker published a book called The Body Electric
in which he showed that the growth and maintenance of every cell in
the human body is determined by the flow of minute electric currents.
In 1990 he published a second book called Cross Currents in which he
showed that these minute electric currents which determine life can be
disrupted by the massive electric and magnetic fields which saturate
our homes and places of work.
He explained the causes of the New Plagues of Electromagnetic
Hypersensitivity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Autism, Sudden Infant
Death, Cancer and Mental Diseases
For his efforts he was rewarded by being forced into early retirement.
