Sorry you get it bad, Robert. I found it more irritating in the early days only a few years back- but easier with it now. Initially, I and others had quite a strong cospiracy streak in discussing this and I still have a touch of it. In general though, I personally feel it is the insidious nature of the Hum that makes it feel threatening. It also operates at brain frequencies that are not comfortable at any level intruding fron outside. This doesn't mean I think hum is benign by any means - but it can be less bothersome if downgraded to an unknown nusciance as so little work is done on it by the authorities that I don't like to be hostage to fortune -and give 'them' any more then they get with their lassitude! Good that you can offset the effect though- but tedious as we all know. Interesting your point on TV- most people think that watching TV makes one suceptible to brain washing rather than less sensitive to Hum, but you may be saying, like we've commented before on 'Hummers', that it's better to be in the know -even if it has a downside.
