Here is a very important update. A scientific explanation has been just published: https://uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/doctor-claims-to-find-the-cause-of-sudden-infant-death-syndrome-080859600.html It states that the COT Death has been linked to an inner ear dysfunction, thus indirectly pointing at the Hum as the culprit. The Hum has been known to affect the inner ear.
