Dear Francis ,
I read your article on Ireland and mass starvation of Ireland under
colonial rule which also applies to India under colonial rule . In this context
your reference to genocide is relevant . Thank you for the article .

‘Mainstream’ Media and the ARREST OF HARYANA ANTI TERRORIST POLICE OFFICIALS AS
EXTORTIONISTS AND CRIMINALS

Whether this e mail is forwarded or not , the truth remains the truth .
The last to acknowledge it are those who wish to pretend that everyone believes
falsehood . Like the Emperor who has no clothes !!!!!

It is not for nothing that the mainstream media is now being referred to
as the 'Corporate Media ' ,reflecting the financing and coverage .
Moreover when under instructions they are busy with fascist reporting of fake
' Terrorism' straight from the briefing received by covert 'Fascist
International Incorporated ' and their most favoured Police and Media cells
, how can they report events taking place from one region to another .

A retired civil servant M.N.Buch, refers to contemporary India as having
a distinct resemblance to Kuomintang China in the years of the mid- thirties
onwards . For sometime now, Mumbai resembles the Shanghai of the Chiang Kai
Shek regime of gangsters , financiers and Comprador elite ,cozy with the
foreign enclaves .Yet the propaganda in the newspapers and on TV also
resembles the days of the Nazi Third Reich ,which thereafter spread to the
whole of Europe . Of course Europe was destroyed, even though it was claimed by
the Nazi party financed and supported by Fortune 500 Companies when they
faced a similar global economic crisis , that it would last for a thousand
years .......in India there is more than one party assisting in such propaganda
and false arrests and torture of citizen as false arrests are taking place in
states where different political parties in power , evidence of a consensus ,
the use of 'terrorism' as a distraction from policy . However the propaganda is
not working at all !!!!!!!

Not having been able to prove through the legal system that the illegal
mala fide arrests made from one case of bomb blast to another were bona fide
and the cover up being widely exposed from one region to another, by citizens
of all religious groups , the extreme frustration of the politically
constituted Anti Terrorist Squads backed by fake Intelligence Agencies and
hand picked Prosecutors serving their political and corporate masters and
financiers , led to the assassination of Advocate Shahid Azmi who had
extended legal aid and assistance in these cases on the request of the
Jamiat-Ulema- E-Hind an organization affiliated to the Congress from the days
of the Freedom Movement .

Another six Advocates are being threatened through the Crime Branch , the
Anti -Terrorist Squad and the Prosecution working for the Fascist
International connected to the political and corporate underworld , in the hope
that with no legal representation, the game of bomb blasts can continue . Not
realizing that game was up when Mr. Hemant Karkare, the late Jt. Commissioner
of Police painstakingly traced the bomb blasts in his investigation to
organizations connected with those responsible for the assassination of
Mahatma Gandhi receiving funds from friendly Intelligence Agencies through
Nepal among other sources of funding . Having worked for RAW he was aware that
this activity was aimed against the unity and integrity of the country and
those resorting to such activity were mercenaries and not patriots . It is
interesting how in India and elsewhere scoundrels claim to be religious or
patriotic . For this investigation Mr. Hemant Karkare was referred to as Afzal
Khan and threatened that he would meet the same fate as Mahatma Gandhi . The
threat was on telephone and through the newspaper published on the morning of
26/11 the very day he was killed along with Mr. Kamte and others policemen .

Trains , Hotels , Cama Hospital, Railway Station are very strange
terrorist targets as are all the other targets projected by the media through
special briefings . Many journalists having to be laid off and retrenched due
to the serious financial crisis sought to be camouflaged no one should blame
the remaining who wish to keep their jobs in difficult times by handing out
special briefings by covert agencies . However these targets strain the
imagination of people.

We are slowly discovering that the governments of India and Pakistan
continue talking to each other despite what both claim to be 26/11 and
bombings in Kabul because India and Pakistan have many things in common . Both
are closely allied to the Anglo-American forces waging war allegedly against
Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan , both have a large Diaspora in the US and UK
and both have their citizens killed by bomb blasts or by religious /sectarian
pogroms .Many , many similarities after all it was with the assistance of the
two nation theory of Jinnah's Muslim League and as argued even earlier by
Golwarkar in ' We our Nationhood Defined ' in which it was categorically stated
that Hindus and Muslims are two separate nations , which was the ideology and
strategy for partition !!!!!!!!!!!

It would be a useful exercise to keep a diary of bomb blasts and the names
of those arrested from all over the country , the police officials effecting
arrests , the political bosses in the State and at the Centre , their main
source of campaign contributions , to record what happened during this period .

Dawood Ibrahim who like Osama Bin Laden has property in London and is a
frequent visitor to London with links to Intelligence Agencies of more than
one country of South Asia and to the UAE which has special relations with MI6
. The Don has also special relations with the political leadership of more
than one party in Maharashtra . A close relative , even visited the Tiger's den
and was hosted there .

Who is patriotic is a question which the citizens of India now understand
very clearly . It has been politically pronounced again, that no one who is
not a Hindu can be an Indian( this was pronounced in pre-partition India . In
which case what happens to India 's border states in the North West , in the
North and in the North East , and to other areas .What happens to those who
trace their origins to India , before the advent of any religion ???????

Without Jt.Commissioner of Police Hemant Karkare, who would have exposed
the real hand behind the bomb blasts linked to foreign funding received through
Nepal .

Shahid Azmi was an embarrassment as without him who would have extended
competent and professional assistance to scores of the poorest of the poor
framed up for terrorism , with fake investigations and fake prosecutions
exposed from case to case .

From history we have to recall the Reichstag Fire when the Nazis set the
fire to the legislature building and blamed the innocent . What followed should
be read carefully .

States with different political formations all of whom receive corporate
funding of diverse financiers and business houses have established special Anti
Terrorist Squads . Now from Haryana comes a special report of the Police
officials belonging to this special branch of being Extortionists and Criminals
. Such reports are coming in from other States too that the officials of this
cell had extorted money . What is the tradition of this Special Anti Terrorist
Squad that leads them to criminality , it is close proximity to the political
bosses and financiers for special to secret work covertly performed under
instructions.

Why did a responsible police officer of the Gujarat Cadre disclose that he
was informed by his superior that the minorities were targeted as a matter of
State Policy . Why are three very Senior Police Officials in jail in Gujarat
after investigation by the Special Task Force .

Regarding the offer to build another mosque in Awadh , there are 50, 000
Ram Mandirs and several mosques at Ayodhya which is Awadh , now Faizabad . The
financial assistance of both those supporting another Mandir and another Masjid
can be used for a state supported school or hospital for those below the
poverty line , this is the answer to the offer . The people of India have
enough places of worship to go to when they are oppressed by the political
system , what they need is an infrastructure for progress .

                                         Niloufer Bhagwat

Quite true Mahtab. But as you know, that's not all the Mainstream Media
blacked out. They gave some sporadic coverage at least to the demonstrations
you mention - they completely blacked out the procession and dharna of
construction workers that took place the same day (barring tiny reports in
Hindustan (Hindi) and Nai Duniya and a slightly larger on in Jansatta). The
working class is the most invisible of them all... Laws made for them are
violated blatantly, they are not even dignified with the recognition that they
are poor (kept out of BPL lists) and they are often migrants subjected to the
assaults of Raj and Bal Thackerays - but for the media and the ruling class,
they are persona non grata.

        By Mahtab Alam, TwoCircles.net,

New Delhi: On 7 March 2007, when more than 5000 activists of Tamilnadu
Muslim Munnetra Kazagham (TMMK) marched to Parliament from various parts of the
state to demand reservation for Muslims in government services and educational
institutions, they could not make news for mainstream media at all as the march
was completely blacked out. Three years down the line situation seems not to
have changed. Yesterday, there were several rallies on Muslim issues here but
‘mainstream’ newspapers have just buried the news.

Jantar Mantar of Delhi, considered to be the barometer of Indian
Democracy and the only authorized space in the national capital to put forward
people’s demand on various issues, witnessed a historic scene yesterday.
Thousands of people and dozens of organization, coming from different parts of
the country rallied for reservation for Muslims and implementation of
recommendations of both Sachar Committee and Ranganath Mishra Commission. But
for mainstream media it was not the ‘news’ hence you will either find complete
blackout or marginal reporting with misleading touch in today’s papers.

The Times of India in its 36-page issue could not spare even a single
column to cover any of rallies, dharna and protests organized to demand Muslim
reservation. While counterpart Hindustan Times, in its 38-page edition could
only make it on page 16 with heading “Post-women’s bill: Huge Muslim rally for
quota”. However, it writes in a confusing way: “Backed by prominent MPs opposed
to women reservation bill, hundreds of backward Muslims and Christians on
Tuesday demanded quota in jobs and education”.

Joining Times of India, both The Pioneer and The Asian Age spread over
16 and 36 pages respectively could not spare even a tiny space to inform their
readers about demands of Muslims. The Statesman in 20-page edition only
bothered to publish a small picture of protest demanding Minority Character of
Jamia Millia Islamia. The Indian Express did the same, and that too on its page
number 23 of 26-page newspaper.

Among the lesser read, both The Hindu and tabloid Mail Today
comparatively gave more space. But The Hindu covered only Dharna for Minority
Character of Jamia Millia Islamia and Mail Today felt happy covering only
Popular Front of India’s march to Parliament.

Hindi newspapers, not lagging behind their English counterparts
reported the events with same ‘zeal’. In fact, Hindi papers took lead in not
covering. Dainik Jagaran and Amar Ujala, most read papers of Hindi did not
cover the events. Like Times of India, the same group’s paper Nav Bharat Times
blacked out the news. Dainik Hindustan, following the pattern of group’s
English paper Hidustan Times gave a marginal coverage. While Jansatta, one of
the progressive but less read Hindi daily covered the events comparatively
better, Hindi daily Nai Duniya only worried to publish small news demanding
minority character of Jamia. However, Rashrtriya Sahara Hindi daily did it
well.

What is most startling, even Urdu dailies did not cover the events
prominently. Rashtriya Sahara, largest selling Urdu daily did not mind it
publishing on front pages. The events could only find space on page number 8
and 9. Lesser known and read Sahafat and Hamara Samaj Daily made it on front
pages. However, on the whole even in Urdu dailies the events got lesser
attention, of course not up to their importance.

Interestingly, in almost every daily petty incident of clash in Jamia
Nagar between Asif Mohd Khan, local MLA and Parwez Hashsmi, former MLA and
Rajya Sabha MP has been over reported. In fact, some of the newspapers blew it
out of proportion. Times of India reported curfew like situation giving heading
– Jamia Nagar tense after MP, MLA groups clash and Dainik Jagaran reported,
Clash between MP and MLA in Jamia Nagar, disturbances at Police Station. Urdu
dallies also followed the line. What is more interesting, the people of Jamia
Nagar heard about the ‘rioting and tension’ through the newspapers only. Even
this writer, who lives not more than 500 hundred meters from MP’s residence and
crosses both his residence and Police station at least twice in a day is
‘informed’ by newspapers only!
