CHILDLINE India Foundation (CIF) is rolling out a large scale initiative to bridge the communication gap between parents, children and teachers on Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). Volunteers who make a commitment to the program will be provided training at a Training of Trainers Workshop (TOT) and certified by TISS (Tata Insitute of Social Sciences) & CIF. CIF's CSA project team will then coordinate with trained and certified volunteers to conduct CSA awareness sessions at about a 1000 schools in Mumbai over a one year period, amongst primary school children. Volunteers are being drawn from PTAs ( in association with PTA United Forum) and from among others who are willing to make the commitment. This is a excellent opportunity for Volunteers to get certified training and participate in a significant initiative. Interested volunteers are requested to visit the CIF web site ( http://www.childlineindia.org.in/volunteer-for-childline.htm) and if they meet the requirements indicated they can fill in the form and register.
