Subject: Re: [Secular Perspective] Dr. Binayak Sen- Lets Organise Black Band
Protests in front of Courts across country on 30 December
To: [email protected]

Friends
The Judgment in the case of Dr. Binayak Sen is a mockery of Justice to say
the least and will and must be challenged in the higher court. In the mean
time to generate sustained debate about the unfairness of judgment can we
arrange for Panel Discussions in as many News Channels across the country as
possible. We are reaching to a number of TV Channels in Andhra Pradesh and
all of them have agreed to arrange for special coverages and Panel
Discussions on the subject. If we can reach out to the media within the next
two-three days (before another major scam hits the country) we should be
able to get some good time in the media to put the facts across.

Secondly, may I suggest that we organise Black Band Protests in front of as
many courts as possible all across the country to express our disagreement
and anguish with the Judgment. I understand the courts are likely to be on
Vacation from 31st December for over 2 weeks. Can this Protest be organised
on 30th December at 11 am?

We are organising Protest today- 25th December at 6 pm at Press Club,
Basheer Bagh, Hyderabad.

Awaiting responses to the suggestions.

In Solidarity
