*Today the 7th of January, 2011 the Bilaspur High Court of the State of Chhattisgarh, heard Dr. Binayak Sen's application challenging the Raipur trial court order and that of suspending the sentence. The matter came up before Justice *T.P. Sharma and Justice R.L. Jhanwar. Senior lawyer Sh. Surender Singh argued on behalf of Dr. Binayak Sen and *was *assisted by Sh. Mahendra Dubey. The Chhattisgarh State was represented by Advocate General Sh. Kishore Bhaduri. The Court ** 1. Admitted the Criminal Appeal challenging the conviction, for hearing. 2. Ordered the calling of the Record from the Raipur Trial Court. 3. Kept the hearing on the suspension of the Sentence for the 24th of January. Next date : 24th January, 2011.
