Dear all

judicial reforms need to go hand in hand with land reforms, income/asset
ceilings, and changing norms on dharma, karma, confessions to redeem sins,
satisavitri et al exist (i read an interesting article on this).

What will the poor do when their livelihood is dependent on the rich? when
centuries of norms have been internalised. This material and cultrual
underpinnings to corruption have to be addressed as pointed by ambedkar.

while we are all for non violence, we need to remember that gandhi spoke about
trusteeship. there is no trusteeship in Indian and global society. the crisis
which we see today is part of the vacuum created by a unpolar world order in
which unfettered capitalism prevails.

We need judicial reforms urgently , the situation is far beyond

acceptance . Even in the high profile Bhushan CD case we are seeing

two private labs saying that the CDs are doctored , while the

government lab says it is original work. Corrupt judges , incompetent

& corrupt police & investigation that cant be relied on ,

manufacturing & planting evidence ,   pressurizing witnesses ,

creating false witnesses are all fair game in the justice game today.

The public needs to wake up urgently from the  'bhang"   like stupor

it is in today as it has in case of corruption.
