Sawant (Retd. Supreme Court Judge), Shri. Suresh Mehta (Fmr. Chief Minister of Gujarat), and Adv. Desai addressed the Press Conference. The agenda of the Press Conference was *“Subversion of Justice in Gujarat and victimization of those fighting for Justice.”* One glaring example of such victimization is the case of Human Rights Activist Teesta Setalvad, who is facing continual threats to her security coupled with character assassination, false criminal charges and allegations. At the Press Conference, the Committee released documents, showing as to how a maliciously motivated campaign is being carried out by the powers that be, with a view to distract, distort and disrupt the course of justice, against Human Rights Activist Teesta Setalvad and those fighting for justice in Gujarat. Now we wish to carry on from here and take up other campaigns and activities to broaden the work. All friends wishing to associate with this crucial work, those who wish to express solidarity with the cause of justice are requested to come for the meeting and associate with the work of committee and express solidarity.
