As all of you know, RTI & anti-coal activist Ramesh Agarwal is facing
constant harassment, confinement, was chained to his bed for the 1st days of
arrest, subjected to life-threatening attacks etc -- by the goons of Jindals
(Jindal Steel & Power of Navin Jindal - the Congress MP), in the banana
republic called Chhattishgarh. All because he dared to expose the multitude of
scams & violations by the Jindals in pushing their dirty polluting plants.
Recent info is that the Chhatishgarh police is planning to slap extortion
charges on Ramesh Agarwal, on top of the flimsy defamation charge already
slapped (under which he was arrested) . Inview of his bail application likely
to be moved in the Supreme Court, it's important that we organise some strong
protests in various cities - for us in Delhi.
