25 Lakh Rs was indeed received by IAC from Jindal's but it has been received from Jindal Aluminium / Sitaram Jindal which is very different from Jindal Group of companies / O P JIndal and his now 'famous sons' Naveen, Sajjan and others.
I did some Google search and Jindal Aluminium seems to be a one plant based in Bangalore alone. http://www.jindalaluminium.com/ The money was donated by http://www.sitaramjindalfoundation.org/ something like SRTT or Dorabji Tata Trust much in the nature of old school philanthropy, unlike current day CSR. from 2000 onwards the Jindal Steel / Power etc have completly changed in profile and they have become predatory, where as Jindal Aluminium remains the same way. It will be interesting to see what happens when Sitaram Jindal passes away, since things changed a lot after O P Jindal passed away.
