*An appeal for support for Aanchal, a rural journalist’s daughter*
Aanchal, a 7 year old girl, is currently battling septicaemia. She is the daughter of Kavita, an editor of Khabar Lahariya, a rural newspaper brought out by a team of women in Banda and Chitrakoot districts of Uttar Pradesh. At present Aanchal is in the Intensive Care Unit of Sahara hospital in Lucknow. An infected wound has led to severe sepsis, which is spreading all over her body and internal organs, including her heart. Aanchal is bravely fighting the infection, but the next 72 hours are extremely critical for her. Aanchal’s treatment, including medicines and hospital expenses, will cost a significant amount.
