Dear [email protected]
On behalf of Admiral Bhagwat who is your customer
[email protected] I have to notify you that no e mails are being
received by him from your server ,neither has he been able to forward any
e mails from his e mail account with you since this morning .
This happened immediately after he circulated an article by Ashok Rao
on the nature of political forces supporting Anna Hazare's fast ,namely
this activist Ashok Rao has emphasized that extreme right wing political
forces had rallied round the drama of the fast as a way to divert attention
from the privatization and briberization by the Corporate sector and the
enormous loss of revenues in 2G, and the need for the Multinational and
Indian Corporate sector and financiers to pressurize the government at this
stage through such fasts to influence the second stage of reforms, which
are projected to devour the nationalized banks, take over of Insurance and
Pensions among other such measures proposed by Indian and foreign
Multinational Companies and financiers and other looters poised in
view of past victories to march ahead .
Blocking of Admiral Bhagwat's e mail communications amounts
to censorship .Whereas it is in public interest to understand the forces and
people behind this hunger fast and the drama being staged , when in fact
rooting out of corruption actually necessitates several authorities in the
length
and breadth of the country which one authority sitting in Delhi will not be
able to adequately deal with . Such measures must include authorities at the
Districts and Tehsils , as citizens in rural India are even more seriously
impacted ; one authority each for major Municipal Corporations such as the
BMC ; amendements to the Prevention of Corruption Act to provide that sanction
shall be granted whenever there is a prima facie case and complaints recorded
when made by citizens under this statute for further investigation and
prosecution
; the inclusion of the the Corporate Sector and all NGOs and other
organizations
receiving funds from the Corporate Sector among others for strict monitoring
,and
a separate Judicial Commission to monitor corruption in the higher judiciary
as it is
given Constitutional protection if we are not to further paralyze its
functioning as
the main problem in the higher Judiciary is delay and inefficiency with
corruption
a lesser problem and restricted mainly to high profile players .
It appears that forces behind the scene have hijacked the entire movement .
Dishonestly they are projecting that this agitation will abolish corruption,
Just as the JAIPRAKASHNARAYAN MOVEMENT promised a "Total Revolution"
and the people of India discovered that the real revolution was to instal
Moraji Desai ,
Mr.Vajpayee, Mr. George Fernandes , Mr. Advani, Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav among
others in power ...........the rest ishistory the strengthening of fascist
movements using
religion and caste backed by powerful corporate players , playing both sides .
Genuine Gandhian movements are expected to be non partisan and demand
an end to influence by the Corporate Sector on government policies bleeding
the national and state exchequers , whetherin the Union of India or in States
run
by various governments .Whereas yesterdayMr.Shreekumar former IG of police
Gujarat said in an interview in Times of India ,that he had to educate Anna
Hazare on the real situation in Gujarat when certificates were being given to
the State of Gujarat by Anna , which along with other States where the Congress
party
is in power, have used so called " Jehadi" terror as divide and rule policy
influenced
by Corporate backers and financiers allied with global financial and corporate
interests
to support the "War on Terror" which is a war on people everywhere .
To compare Anna Hazare and his companions to Gandhiji is a sacrilege .
With due respect to the contribution of Justice Hegde as Lokayukta.
Motivations of such movements must be to improve on the ground conditions
for vast majority of citizens by bringing about a change in policy not to
deflect
attention from the real reason why corruption is permitted and the role of
the Corporate Sector , Builders lobby and Commercial classes and financiers
in corrupting the entire system aggravated by neoliberal policies ,who cannot
be given impunity under statutes contemplated and earlier statutes enacted.
A several tier system from the Districts to New Delhi is required to root
out corruption, not one authority sitting in far off New Delhi alone, and
every official and corporation is required to be covered including the BMC ,
Legislators( for acts done outside the legislature ) .It is a reasonable
proposal to subject the PM to the authority on relinquishing the post
for all acts performed while in office .
False complaints must be prosecuted as in India political partisanship
is the present reality and upper castes/classes are given customary
impunity .
There is a corporate war after the 2G scam and Radia tapes
involving major political formationsand their respective backers
reflected in this movement which is reducing itself to a farce .
At one time the Central Vigilance Commissioner was touted
as a solution to all evils thereafter the Right to Information
with several citizens exercising that right murdered . Recently
a retired military official said that if he were to disclose the
net worth of retired military officials holding high office he
would be assassinated .
Everyone has a right to particpate in this dialogue which
has been hijacked .
The question whether probity can be secured in a system
which has given monarchial status to CEOs of Banks and
Corporations which have stolen public funds all over the
globe ,will of course involve another movement ???????
Kindly have the communication restored .This movement is
too important for the debate to be hijacked either by the government
or five or seven persons masquerading as Mahatmas when the reality
is otherwise .
Mrs N.Bhagwat
