....indeed should be ...a coherent critique of a large , peaceful , self motivated movement , on an idea that was lying around for 42 years & no one touched it ...the movement was probably not so much against corruption as against the "arrogance of power"...against MPs , MLAs , bureaucrats ....regardless of caste , community or religion who demean the pubic daily as a habit...in what is tagged as the world's biggest democracy .
Anna is going for systemic change ...thru electoral reforms . Anna is just the symbol ...and the anti-graft movement just a skirmish . The big one will come when the battle for electoral reform begins ....and the mango people will be there again....for them selves as they were this time , as we all are deeply selfish ...with Anna on the podium hopefully ...we all need to put as a face to it. Seems our big army of social activists , NGOs , intellectuals& do- gooders all missed this one & might miss the next big one too . Should also be circulated openly for the mango people to read & react.
