It seems a whole lot of people are misreading the anger and frustration of 1.2 billion.... people rising against the arrogance of power &.... the arrogance displayed by the pseudo intellectuals is even more amazing . None of them have probably visited the sites of the movement or mingle with the people. Their collage of experiences they paint as the movement's reality comes from a world they only inhabit ...and allow others like themselves to inhabit. We do have some strange bedfellows here , Ms. Roy ( Arundhati) , Sir Laloo , Ms. Roy ( Aruna) , Mr. Udit Raj ....is a fairly long list already... and seems is another Jack & the bean stalk in the making...all of political class included.
Utter nonsense is being dished out as analysis and comment by our much in demand pseudo-intellectual fraternity ....a complete misreading & disregard to the sentiment on the street & the root cause the movement stems from....the overwhelming arrogance of power the system has accumulated . The TV debates are onto attacking those who are attacking corruption . Not one anti-Anna or so called neutral expert is onto attacking graft or the arrogance of power ingrained in the system ....the twin issues uppermost on people's mind today ....with as much vigour as the interest they display in seeing deception in Anna .... & making oblique and even direct attacks on Anna , his team & his methods . Reminds me of crabs in a basket pulling down any one trying to escape , but this Anna crab has the needed escape velocity ..... Anna & Co can lead the movement ... but hardly define the movement in its entirety ...they surely may attempt to so from time to time , even change the course .....a mass movement is what a participating person see's it as and has not one absolute definition ...it is the people who are interpreting it in their own way , joining in their own selfishness or just for the cause ...it is a people's voluntary movement & not a bussed hoard of goons for a SG , RG meet , they are all coming on their own , taking time off from work, job , studies , asking friends to join in , are saying it is now or never , don't cry later ...by blogging , tweeting , Face-booking , SMSing , raising the news channel TRPs ....contributing money to the movement , running voluntary kitchens for the attendees , buying their own flags , topis , writing poetry , coining slogans , couplets .... to know what the movement means to the mango people ... ask the mango people on the street ..the response ranges from saying no to the traffic policeman who wants a bribe ....to trusting Anna fully with their future , the future of their children ..the hallmark of a diverse , involved people's movement .... built on the hopes and the aspirations of many. It is a movement by the people fed up of the daily humiliations meted out by the system out to say "enough is enough" we will not take any more ...and it is not going away ...any time soon now.
