   Dear Cynthia ,

This BBC news segment is now being widely discussed and reported on .This
individual trader represents the economic and financial culture of
financialization which has now replaced manufacture as the single most
important activity in some of the erstwhile dominant financial centres
.Therefore the people of the NATO countries have to be driven into debt and
assets taken over and currency and resource wars waged .

You used the right word " depravity ",whole political systems have been
really criminalized .

Some one referred to the decisions to bomb one country after another and
drone warfare as insane, yet war is now financial and commercial policy as
pronounced by the NATO Secretary General "........If you're not able to deploy
your troops beyond your border than you can't exert influence internationally
..........."

You recall that they said that the Nazi policy of occupying one country
after another was insane , yet the Nazi party was the party of German
Companies ( often allied with other companies including some major US
companies ), who had as their war objectives, seizure and confiscation ,and
in fact were very much a part of the military council targeting countries and
formulating the policy of the use of citizens of occupied countries and the
minorities as slave labour and for genocide, to provide a diversion, and as a
means to eliminate the population of occupied territories to mop up surpluses .
So the bombings and killings of hospitals and all infrastructure of the
civilian population is an integral part of war policy , to eliminate
populations for better control over resources.

You have been on the road , which is probably far less frustrating . Our
media in India which represents major corporate interests do not allow these
issues to emerge .An abyss faces the world ,and in these situations
alternatives have to be posed, as it is now a dead end . That is if we are not
to be reduced to continuous mourners at funerals . The wars are continuous and
endless both abroad and through internal economic policy ( Greece , United
States , UK ) , as millions have to be pauperized to appease the Bankers and
financial institutions , despite which recently there was a policy
pronouncement in India to permit private banks, including of Corporate Houses
with substantial foreign equity holdings !

I was sad at the passing away of the young friend of your son .These are
difficult times for young people with 25% of youth in the NATO countries
unemployed facing a bleak future even as the military machine recruits those
who have lost hope like the Gladiators , kill or be killed are the alternatives
posed to those recruited to armies of occupiers .

When this period is over, it will be said that those who described the
horrors of the methods of capital accumulation of the fascist business model,
which always surfaces in the period of 'bust 'which follows 'boom' , had not
depicted the depravity adequately .

One of the real reasons for the dilemma facing most societies is that
alternative economic models have been wholly demonized because of the siege
that was imposed on them , as a consequence the evolution to a higher stage for
these models did not take place . In India the very Companies who corrupted
erstwhile regulations, refer to the period of regulations as the " License and
Permit " Raj ; whereas they misused a soft state newly emerged from
colonization with diverse and complex problems , to subvert those regulations
,using financial power. We have discovered what democracy and capitalism look
like in Iraq , Afghanistan , Libya among other countries , and of course the
real models of the USA , UK and Europe which thoroughly disillusioned Mahatma
Gandhi who wanted a different political society where humanity would be at the
centre stage of all economic , social and political policy .

Now we have gone back to resisting colonization military and economic with
collaborators from within our societies, some waiting in the wings like the
National Transitional Council of NATO, sponsored predators paid to destroy
their own societies . Some by the use of arms , others using coloured
revolutions and still other using so called Public Interest Litigation ,
including a part time Harvard Professor from India , who has in criminal
statements called upon Indian minorities to declare their sources of origins
or leave India , which as you know no one in India can certify , as there have
been migrations over thousands of years into South Asia ! We have our Ku Klux
Klan too in India , in the form of a political formation right into the 21st
Century supported in the main by dominant groups , who fortunately do not
constitute the majority in India !

Fortunately the heart of the majority of the people of India is in the
right place , against colonization and for economic and social emancipation
.This was the legacy of the mass based Indian struggle for Indian Independence
in which the parties of foreign capital ( to-day's fascists ) played no role
except the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi .

You see that prophecy of the Native Americans, called' Red Indians '(
they were mistaken for us Indians by those who knew little about the world and
even less about sea routes, whereas traders from Africa and the Arab World were
familiar with the sea route to India for centuries ) has to be realized and
there is no inherent difference among citizens of different citizens and races
that we need to create political systems free from the shackles of
militarization and exploitation, whether economic , social and political . We
are apt to dismiss tribal societies as " Utopian" however the reality is that
their concept of civilization is certainly superior to ours, though we have
to-day improved means and instruments of science and technology .

                                               A warm embrace ,

                                                       Niloufer

Subject: [hq2600] From Cynthia McKinney: What I'm Watching Now

I've taken a break from my reading to unpack my suitcases and the many
boxes of articles, messages, notes, business cards, dvd's, etc. that I
collected on the Truth Tour. And while going through these things and trying
to find a place for everything, I decided to watch some videos on the internet.
The documentaries were so compelling, I had to interrupt my project and send
this message to you.

First, an example of depravity (not that we need any more in our lives):
Making the rounds is a BBC News segment of a young trader, Alessio Rastani, who
says that he dreams of recessions because a recession and a market crash
represent an opportunity to make a lot of money. His warning is to get
prepared because this economic crisis is like a cancer and it will not go away,
it will grow. When the Euro crashes, a lot of money can be made off of this.
He goes on to say that this is not a time to think that governments are going
to sort things out. "Governments don't rule the world, Goldman Sachs rules the
world. Goldman Sachs does not care about this [European] rescue package."

Look at this young man here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqN3amj6AcE&; and
figure out how we can do some reverse engineering on this fellow! I think he
needs a heart.

What made me decide to send this e-mail out was what I just finished
watching: a devastatingly shocking 2004 film about AIDS entitled, "Origin of
AIDS: The Polio Vaccine" done by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation before
they became like U.S. media. "origin of AIDS" can be seen here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZs1V8mpcoY. But please don't stop there.
Please peruse the website that houses these fantastic documentaries:
http://drey.orgfree.com/Political/

From that website, right now, I'm watching the BBC's 1992 documentary,
"Operation Gladio: State Sponsored Terrorism in Europe." And when this frame
came on the screen, I had to stop and do this message: "Deception is a state
of mind and the mind of the State." That quote is from James Jesus Angleton,
Head of CIA Counter Intelligence 1954 - 1974. That just about says it all.

Well, I'd better get back to work now. I look forward to sending out what
I am reading, too, some very interesting articles of late. And, I also haven't
had a chance to provide an update on Fukushima. I hope you all don't think
that problem has abated just because it's not on the news every night.
