Prominent Sikh journalist Surinder Singh has been charged and imprisoned in a 27 year old case. Surinder Singh is a journalist who has extensively covered Sikh political issues. He was eminent in providing coverage for Bapu Surat Singh’s hunger strike. It is strongly suspected that his arrest has taken place to stop his investigative coverage from reaching the public domain.
