500 women from 21 women’s organizations which have been working for women’s rights for two decades or more will be* marching from Kotwal Gardens, Dadar West to Amar Hind Mandal, Dadar West.* *Main Speaker: Ms Suhasini Ali, President of the All India Women’s Democratic Association* *Songs and a Play on the Women’s Movement will be presented by Stree Mukti Sanghatana* Date: March 8th, 2016 Time: 4.30 pm Venue: Amar Hind Mandal grounds, Gokhale Road, Dadar West, Mumbai The theme this year is *“Let’s break the silence, let’s fight for our constitutional rights!!”* Women would like to voice their demands and the infringement of their fundamental rights. Women would like their rights to entry into temples and mosques; to wear what they wish; to mobility and what food they want to eat. If the Constitution gives women these rights, they should be allowed in our society.
