For the period JANUARY 2016 - DECEMBER 2016, below find the data emanating from District Court Chandigarh with respect to cases dealt under POCSO Act. *DISTRICT* *TOTAL CASES* *NO OF ACCUSED* *ACQUITTAL* *CONVICTION* *PART CONVICTION/**ACQUITTAL* CHANDIGARH 24 29 13 10 01 Out of these 24 cases, in 6 cases report of sexual abuse was made where the survivor were 9 Boys. Below table shows the outcome from those cases. *TOTAL CASES * *ACQUITTAL* *CONVICTION* *PART CONVICTION/**ACQUITTAL* 6 02 03 01 In the remaining 18 cases dealt were where the survivor were Girls. Below table shows the outcome from those cases.
