No, won't try for a name but I would suspect (by the expression) not a lover 
of the HG.
I wouldn't fancy playing with him glaring at me.
Still, beautiful carving.
May it be an apostolic figure? I'm sure I've seen St Peter or Paul looking 
like this but can't remember where (old age setting in).
