before reading Scott's answer I was browsing through your photos and thought by myself: this must be a Reichmann - and now I do not doubt. You could check back with Kurt at http://www.kurt-reichmann.de/leier2 Btw.: don't click on the "hurdy-gurdy" link on his website if you ca not stand what Americans probably may call "offensive" photographs. Kurt did a lot of what he called "Hurdy-Gurdy-Girls" photos. Here in Europe I do not believe that anybody would be shocked about these kind of aesthetic nude neon photographs. I interviewed Kurt some years ago for German "Folker!" magazine and he told me he wanted to do a series of modern photographs to depict the story of the girls who "were emigrated" to USA. In the German province of Hessen many girls were hired by unserious "managers" for playing their hurdy-gurdies in USA, but once they agreed to emigrate were forced to work as whores in the saloons - up to even the Alaska gold rush towns. Kurt did a lot of research on this topic and later decided to do this neon photos. If one likes it . He made several of that type, the heads are exactly the same on all of them. I am not sure if I identified this same instrument on ebay but I did have one that was blonde in color, otherwise easily the same instrument in design.
