HGers -- not to worry -- I've purchased the Neil Brooks DVD -- NOT the Shark in
the Morning one.
You guys are great -- many thanks!

Yes, I know that and wasn't referring to the DVD from Lark in the Morning
(which I have never seen).
The "this" refers to the one I mentioned from Neil Brooks, NOT I repeat NOT
the one that was asked about in the original post.
Sorry for not making that clear. Re-reading my mail, I can see how that
(incorrect) assumption came about.
Let's start again.
I have no knowledge of the DVD mentioned in the original post but I do know
of an excellent alternative one which may be found here:

As I aid, we all contributed to the content of this DVD by saying what WE
wanted to see on it - and a great job Neil Brook made of it as well.
This is NOT something that comes included with anything else. You have to buy
it direct from Neil's website.
Hope that makes things clearer. My reply was as an addition to the mail from
Kevin (see below) not as a reply to the original post.

Colin,
The HG method DVD referred to in Kevin's message is not the one produced by
Neil Brook which can be thoroughly recommended.

I can recommend this DVD which was produced after discussions on the UK HG
list . (Yahoo group)
I bought one and it covers a lot of maintenance tasks (rather than how to
play) from cottoning to truing the wheel.
Something there for everyone.
It makes such a difference to actually SEE things being done.

Hello,
It isn't worth the money. It is mostly about how to finish a kit, and
then there is a part at the end where they tell you how you can use dulcimer
tablature to learn songs on the HG. I wrote to both Lark and some other place
that sells it to complain, to very little effect.
cheers,
Kevin
