I find this kind of a wierd posting. The lister is probably an antique dealer or antique instrument dealer of some kind, he/she has had 4093 ebay listings in 11 years. For having never seen a 'gurdy before, he/she seems to know a little (not much but a little) about it. For example, in my experience, most 'civilians' call the crank "a handle" but the seller is familiar enough with the instrument to call it a crank. And the whole nobody knows how to play one now, but a little later says, if you want to play it you would need a luthier.
I dont think its a scam, but it seems just a little odd. derek ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cali and Alden Hackmann" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, April 02, 2009 3:29 PM Subject: [HG-new] Another hurdy-gurdy on eBay > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "hurdygurdy" group.
