Hello Ruth..and other interested parties Yes I will be there as I want to complete my education in the chien making department. Claire makes some of the best chiens around so the beneftit of her tuition will be invaluable in my quest for the perfect chien. May not be at the concert though as I think I could have a gig in the evening.

On Saturday 20th March, in Ramsgate, Kent (England), there will be a day of hurdy-gurdy and bagpipe workshops, with a concert in the evening. Workshops during the day on gurdy maintenance and playing, bagpipe playing and Middle Eastern percussion will be run by Claire Dugue, Sean Jones, Steve Tyler, Tim Garside and Katy Marchant. The Daughters of Elvin will give a concert in the evening. Workshops cost £12 each and admission to the evening concert is £8 (£5 for children under 13). All-in tickets are available for £30, which covers workshops and concert. Further information and tickets are available from Claire on 01843 588 470, or by email at: [email protected] I will definitely be there. Anyone else thinking of going?
