Hello Andrew,

If you can't find anyone to help you out there you might try posting your
string noise issue to YouTube and get some advice through the group.

Subject: [HG-new] Pennsic

Hello - Anyone heading out to Pennsic this year? I'm going to be
here for the first week, and the last few days of the second, along
ith my Hurdy Gurdy. I'm still struggling with some of the basics of
y (relatively) new instrument...cotton, shim, some weird sounds a new
ow octave string is making, how to play properly....all the usual
tuff that could happily fill an hour or two.
Anyone else going? Maybe we could plan a couple of informal sit-
owns?
Cheers.
