iTunes US is only available to people that live in the US iTunes UK is only available to people that live in the UK each store have tunes that the other may not have. people from outside that particular area cannot buy from them. It is the album "Danses de Berry" by "Les Ecoliers de Saint-Genest". Despite having listened to hundreds of drone music LPs / CDs since as a music critique for Germany's Folk-MICHEL and later Folker mag this is still one of my all time favourites. The band features a very young, 16 or 17 years old Gilles Chabenat, and, as the subtitle says, it contains: "Airs Nouveaux pour Danses Anciennes", new music for old dances. Many of these then "new airs" are today probably perceived to be traditional. Chabenat for example introduced his today widely renowned "Poules Huppées". These kids at their time were pioneers in what nowadays is called "musique trad": they composed new tunes in the old style. What made the record also exceptional is that they combined hurdy-gurdies and bagpipes with cello.
