I had Mel do a major upgrade on my 12-year-old Olympic Musical Instruments Volksgurdy. He put in an adjustable bridge (no more shimming - YAY!), quick-release levers for my melody strings, and a "capo"-like tuning lever on my buzzy bridge string, so now it can sound like a crazed mosquito in two different notes. He also makes beautiful instruments, as well as selling kits and supplies.
