Just to add to what Jon said: I'm an enthusiastic user of MuseScore and
think it's absolutely the lobster's dress-shirt (and therefore a good
step beyond the cat's pajamas), but if you already have a music notation
program that's working for you (Finale or Sibelius, for example), you
might be able to whisper sweet nothings into Jon's ear and persuade him
to save copies of the files in the MusicXML format, which most notation
programs can read. It's easily done in MuseScore (as almost everything
is), but the other programs will have to explicitly import it, as
double-clicking a .xml file will generally drop it into a browser
session, which is unlikely to be of much help.
If, on the other hand, you're looking for a notation program, you could
scarcely do better than MuseScore, and the price (free) is right.

There are those among us who can glance at a score, hear the music in
their heads, and sit down and play it straight off. Alas there are
also the Musically Challenged, like myself, who have to squint
repeatedly at the score, muttering 'Every Good Boy Does Fine', and
puzzle it out note by note. For these benighted folk it is helpful to
hear the music "as she is wrote" and be able to play it over and over
until it sinks in. So I got a music writing program called MuseScore
(available as a free download at MuseScore.Org) and transcribed most
of the tunes in the OTW archive.
Anyone who would be interested in getting these scores can email me
and I will send them. Of course you will first have to download
MuseScore. It is worth getting. Not only can you hear all those
tunes played as the composer intended (and the harmonies in some of
those Bourées are amazing),but you can create scores of your own or
copy others you run across.
My apologies to those who already know all this stuff.
