Hey, folks, This weekend, members of the Over the Water Hurdy-Gurdy Association will be performing at the 40th Northwest Folklife Festival in Seattle. We will be playing in the Center House Theater for a short set on Saturday night, 8:50-9:20. We’d like to invite anyone in the area to join us. If you’d like more information, you can email us at [email protected], and we can arrange meeting and what tunes we will be playing.
There will also be a hurdy-gurdy show-and-tell on Monday night at 6:00-7:00 on the Narrative Stage. In addition, there will be French dance with Eileen Little and Feu de Joie on Saturday morning, 11:00-11:50 in the Rainier Room. Hope to see you there! BTW, because of Folklife and other overlapping commitments there will NOT be a jam session at the Couth Buzzard this Friday. We will return to this venue July 15 for more hurdy-gurdy tunes, informal instruction, espressos, pastries and beer!
