Augusto - In the absence of OTW this year, maybe you should consider flying to France instead of US/Canada. I don't know how much more expensive the airfare is, but if you want intensive HG instruction, it's hard to beat France in summer, summer heat notwithstanding. I particularly suggest the Fete les Volcaniques near Riom in early July. About 6 hours a day of instruction for several days, plus a great community of musicians in a great setting, and wonderful dances every night. We haven't been to Chants des Vielles for a few years. It was great fun, mostly because we love Quebecois music and trad Quebecois musicians, and there were some nice performances involving gurdy, but not much instruction. And it only lasts a weekend.
