Hi all, Thank you all so much for your assistance and ideas in sourcing luthiers' names, etc. The concert was a great success, and the organistrum is now stronger than before and sounding great.
I do have a small request: for our medieval workshop we'd love to be able to introduce a couple of the singers to accompanying themselves with sinfonia. Does anybody in the Vancouver area have any loaner instruments that are sinfonia-like, or can pass for earlier--preferably in G and/or D? If anyone can stand a loan of an instrument until the 13th, I'll be happy to scare up a couple of tickets for a concert in the festival. We're also looking for a small harp for Benjamin Bagby to use, Romanesque would be perfect, but any small early or folk harp would do. Thanks so much!
