Hi Belinda, if you are asking about a hurdy-gurdy festival I would say "Chateau d'Ars" (formerly known as Rencontres Internationales de Luthiers et MaƮtres Sonneurs http://www.rencontresdeluthiers.org/en/intro.htm
But the committee went bankrup this year and a new team of organizers are in charge. https://www.facebook.com/lsc.lesoncontinu?fref=ts It will be a kind of "small scale version" of the luthier's and musician's meeting. If you are asking for a folk, song, world music and dance festival, the Tanz&Folk Festival in Rudolstadt, Germany will be THE place to g. 4 days of music on places all over the town. Definitely you will find many people who can speak English so "surviving in the real word" won't be a problem. https://tff-rudolstadt.de/ Hope, this helps.
