Greetings Red Hat Worldwide Partners,
Starting 19-Jun-2008, hardware certification results packaged in the Red
Hat Ready (rhr2) format will no longer be accepted for hardware
certification. The rhr2 certification package will reach end of life
status in the Red Hat Hardware Certification process.
The launch of the Hardware Test Suite (hts) in 2007 began the transition
process from rhr2 to hts for submitting certification results on Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 4. With the forthcoming launch of the GA HTS package
scheduled for mid-June, the Hardware Catalog
(http://hardware.redhat.com) will be updated to reject rhr2 results
packages on 19-Jun-2008.
Red Hat is pleased to provide the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Hardware
Certification Test Suite (HTS) Beta (hts-5.2-13.el4) and documentation
for use with any Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 minor release at the
following location:
ftp://partners.redhat.com/a166eabc5cf5df158922f9b06e5e7b21/hwcert/noarch
NOTE: This HTS Beta is *not* for use in official certifications,
regardless if used in combination with GA-level releases of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux.
