We are pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of the Red Hat
Hardware Certification Test Suite (hwcert-client-1.5.10-2) for official
hardware certification testing purposes with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
5.x releases.
The Red Hat Hardware Certification Test Suite package
(hwcert-client-1.5.10-2) is an official release and should be used for
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x certification submissions.
Results from the previous Red Hat Hardware Test Suite
(hwcert-client-1.5.9-37) will continue to be accepted for a period of 90
days.
The Red Hat Hardware Certification Test Suite GA is available at the

Highlights of the hwcert-client-1.5.10-2 test suite:
* The "hwcert-client-info" is updated to include the RHEL 5.10 GA
kernel. This package contains product release information, including
kernel versions, that can be used by the test suite in environments
where the the Red Hat partner FTP server cannot be reached to retrieve
the latest product information.
* A missing dependency for a minimum version of sos-report has been
added to the hwcert-client RPM spec file.
* A traceback introduced with changes in the RHEL 5.10 up2date client
has been addressed.
The hwcert-client-1.5.10-2 package has been tested against RHEL 5.10 on
the x86, x86_64, ppc64, and s390x architectures. If you encounter any
problems, please file bugs against the 'Red Hat Hardware Certification
Program' product in Red Hat Bugzilla (https://bugzilla.redhat.com).
