Greetings Red Hat Partners, We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of version 2.2 of the Red Hat Certification Hardware Test Suite. The new version of the test suite *is* an official release and should be used for new Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x and 7.x hardware certification submissions. All new certification requests must be performed using version 2.x of the test suite.
Highlights of the new version include: * Fix an issue blocking openstack certification association with the system under test (SUT). * Fix an issue blocking submission of image in the process of certifying a container. * Fix an issue with CI submission via CWE * Improve the user experience in submitting container certs * Correct the verbiage for a failed CI submission to CWE * Add a new feature to delete certifications and products * Fix an issue when leaving cert ID blank on the command line interface (CLI) * Fix an issue running ‘clean all’ on the CLI * Add a new option to register via CLI * Modify the "rhcert-backend plan" command so that it no longer asks for Vendor, Make and Model * Modify the paths for locating fv related files to accurately reflect the major version of RHEL * Add the capability for partners to add a container against a cloud product * Add persistent logon session * Fix to gracefully handle a missing password * Consolidate mechanisms to control client daemon/listener via rhcertd for better usability * Fix an lxml issue with el6 rpms * Fix for fv_network test * Fix traceback error when clicking ‘continue’ * Add capability for partners to reassign a host to a new SUT (via SUT) * Improved usability in CLI * Fix to allow login after failed login attempt * Modified openstack certs to single sign on (SSO) * Fixed issues with uploading results from one test server to another. NOTE: results uploaded must have been generated with redhat-certification and/or redhat-certification-backend version 2.2 or newer on the client (SUT)).
