Greetings Red Hat Partners, We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of Red Hat Certification 6.3 and its associated test suite package updates (listed below). This Red Hat Certification package update *is* an official release and should be used for all new Red Hat certification submissions. Successful results from the previous certification test suite will be accepted for a period of 90 days.
The updated Red Hat Certification packages listed below are available on the Red Hat Customer Portal at the following location: https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/282/ redhat-certification-6.3-20181213.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-backend-6.3-20181213.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-baremetal-6.3-20181213.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-cloud-6.3-20181213.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-hardware-6.3-20181213.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-hardware-preview-6.3-20181213.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-openstack-6.3-20181213.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-backend-6.3-20181213.el6.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-cloud-6.3-20181213.el6.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-hardware-6.3-20181129.el6.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-hardware-preview-6.3-20181129.el6.noarch.rpm This release includes enhancements and bug fixes as follows: 1. Support added for pre-certification testing on Red Hat OpenStack Platform 14 Public Beta for Plug-in and Baremetal certifications. 2. The following tests have been added to the Red Hat OpenStack Platform policy and workflow Guides in support of pre-certification testing on RHOSP 14 Public Beta: a. 'cinder_multi_attach_volume' test as part of block storage plugin certification b. 'neutron_octavia_load_balancer' test as part of network plugin certification 3. A 'multi-host testing' workflow has been introduced with this release of rhcert. It supports certification test plans that contain a requirement to perform simultaneous tests on more than one SUT: a. 'multi-host testing' results are submitted to Red Hat in a single result file for a certification request which requires multiple overcloud nodes (controller and compute). b. Currently Red Hat OpenStack Platform cinder, manila, and neutron certifications will utilize this feature requiring results from a compute and controller node during testing. 4. Partners can now provide leverage details from an existing component, submitting the 'test Result ID' or 'pass-through Certificate ID' directly on the 'Leverage Result' window. For details, see the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Hardware Certification Test Suite User Guide. 5. For a connected system under test for RHOSP plugin certification, rhcert will now only plan relevant tests. This will help a partner to choose and run the correct RHOSP related tests easily as there will be fewer options to choose from. The complete changelog for each package may be found on the download page by selecting the package name followed by selecting the ChangeLog tab.
