Following are the several new hardware tests that are introduced and added to the policy guide: a. 2_5GigRoCE for 2.5Gb/s RDMA over Converged Ethernet b. 5GigRoCE for 5Gb/s RDMA over Converged Ethernet c. sw_profiler is created for Cloud Instance-types where hardware profiling is unavailable. d. profiler is renamed to hw_profiler for clarity in RHEL 7 and RHEL 8. e. freeze is added to the suspend test in RHEL 8 to cover suspend-to-idle. 2. An issue is fixed where a RHOSP certification user would see "Error: could not download vendor products" instead of the list certifications after logging in, blocking that user. The Red Hat Certification 6.12 release was not announced when the packages were made available. It included the following enhancements and bug fixes: 1. A traceback is fixed in the USB test allowing the use of devices that include non-acsii characters in their name during testing. 2. The kernel checks in the INFO and SUPPORTABLE tests are now fixed to understand the updated versioning pattern of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 kernel errata packages. 3. A bug introduced in redhat-certification-6.11 is fixed where an incorrect mapping of product, version, and platform was shown on the create new certification page. 4. A bug has been fixed in cloud/supportable test while performing the RPM verification. This was blocking the test result generation. 5. The early access 'fingerprintreader' test has been returned to the redhat-certification-hardware-preview package. We value your ongoing participation in Red Hat certification, software development, and testing efforts. Thank you for your continued partnership. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact your partner manager or engineering account manager.
