Greetings Red Hat Partners, We are pleased to announce the availability of the Red Hat OpenStack Platform 16 Compute Node and Bare Metal Certification. These certifications are a continuation of the Nova and Ironic certification processes for your server and baseboard management controllers (BMC) using the official release of Red Hat OpenStack Platform 16.
The Red Hat OpenStack Platform 16 Compute Node certification continues to be automatically awarded upon completion of the corresponding Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 hardware certifications for x86_64 and PPC64LE architectures including RHEL KVM virtualization as RHOSP 16 continues the tradition of being built on a common base. Red Hat OpenStack Platform 16 Bare Metal certification continues to require first completing the Compute Node certification and additional BMC testing using the Ironic service inside of RHOSP 16 to validate the manageability of the server. When conducting Bare Metal certification please use the listed Red Hat Certification 7.6 packages below: System under test (SUT) running RHEL 8 required packages redhat-certification-backend-7.6-20200127.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-baremetal-7.6-20200127.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-openstack-7.6-20200127.el8.noarch.rpm The above packages can be downloaded at: https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/282/ver=8/rhel---8/8/x86_64/packages Local test server (LTS) running RHEL 7 required packages: redhat-certification-7.6-20200127.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-backend-7.6-20200127.el7.noarch.rpm The above packages can be downloaded at: https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/282/ver=7/rhel---7/7/x86_64/packages We value your ongoing participation in Red Hat OpenStack Platform Bare Metal certification, software development, and testing efforts.
