Greetings Red Hat Partners, We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of Red Hat Certification 7.11 and its associated test suite package updates (listed below). This Red Hat Certification package update *is* an official release and should be used for all new Red Hat certification submissions. Successful results from the previous certification test suite will be accepted for a period of 90 days.
The updated Red Hat Certification packages listed below are available on the Red Hat Customer Portal at the following location: https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/282/ redhat-certification-backend-7.11-20200512.1.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-baremetal-7.11-20200512.1.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-cloud-7.11-20200512.1.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-hardware-7.11-20200512.1.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-hardware-preview-7.11-20200512.1.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-openstack-7.11-20200512.1.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-software-7.11-20200512.1.el8.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-7.11-20200512.1.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-backend-7.11-20200512.1.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-baremetal-7.11-20200512.1.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-cloud-7.11-20200512.1.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-hardware-7.11-20200512.1.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-hardware-preview-7.11-20200512.1.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-openstack-7.11-20200512.1.el7.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-backend-7.11-20200512.1.el6.noarch.rpm redhat-certification-cloud-7.11-20200512.1.el6.noarch.rpm This release includes enhancements and bug fixes as follows: 1. A new WirelessAX test is added to the hardware test suite for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 hardware certifications. This test checks if the underlying WiFi adapter supports 802.11ax. 2. The hardware/info, cloud/supportable, openstack/supportable, and software/supportable tests now WARN when the system does not meet minimum memory per logical CPU core. Partners are encouraged to ensure their test environments meet the recommended minimums during certification testing. Testing results will be accepted for certification where the required minimum or greater is utilized. 3. A bug is fixed in the Software certification RPM test where rpms utilizing the "noarch" architecture could cause the test to traceback. Parsing is now corrected and the test should execute as expected. 4. The Software certification RPM test now handles rpmlib and rpmlib() package dependencies. These dependencies are not common, but software utilizing rpmlib dependencies will need to use this release or later for certification. We value your ongoing participation in Red Hat certification, software development, and testing efforts. Thank you for your continued partnership. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact Ecosystem Partner Management.
