This release includes enhancements and bug fixes as follows: 1. The Perf Uncore subtest in the profiler test now supports AMD systems. 2. The lmbench package is no longer required. The hardware certification network tests and subtests are now updated to use the iperf3 package included with RHEL instead of the lmbench certification-specific package. 3. The fingerprint reader test is moved from the hardware-preview package to be supported in the main redhat-certification-hardware package for RHEL 8. The fingerprint reader test verifies that a fingerprint reader is capable of enrolling and verifying fingerprints in the fingerprint manager. 4. The bluetooth test is moved from the hardware-preview package to be supported in the main redhat-certification-hardware package for RHEL 8. The bluetooth test verifies the bluetooth radio can scan for other bluetooth-enabled devices, collect information about other bluetooth devices, and pair with other bluetooth devices. 5. A new power_stop test is added in the hardware certification test suite for RHEL 8. The power_stop test verifies the Stop States on IBM POWER9-based systems. We value your ongoing participation in Red Hat certification, software development, and testing efforts. Thank you for your continued partnership. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact Ecosystem Partner Management. Regards, The Red Hat Certification Team
